Towards the end of my training I was getting very confident, it was good to have a poor flight to make sure I didn't get complacent. I think it helped me be extra careful on the skills test. I categorized my blog entries, and there were almost as many cancellations as there were flights! Like you I was also reduced to weekend only flying after the first bit of the training.
